Lamiaa Menhal,

a Moroccan artist who studied illustrati on for two years at College La Salle and was awarded a degree in Marketing and Communication in 2002.

She is known for her distinctive and unique portrayals of women and nature. During her artistic career, she held more than seventy-five Art exhibitions.

Lamiaa’s art is based on her instinct; her signature lies in working only with her hands, avoiding the use of pain brushes, «I can’t stand any intermediary between me and my artwork. Working with my hands is a way for me to express my sensibility, fear, anger and emotions»

Her artwork is mostly oil paintings painted directly onto canvas. Her style has been described by the Art Critics as a fusion of art figurative, abstract and semi-abstract. Lamiaa states that the merging of realistic and unusual bodies are such an extras to her to work on.

She is known as the «Official Moroccan Artist Ambassador».

She excelled in representing the Moroccan Art and its culture across the world. Often invited as a guest of honor, she has participated in countries such as Lebanon UAE, France and Switzerland …

January 2020 Lamia was honored by participating in Artsita organizing exhibitions and art galleries as a sponsor in a crisis film through His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Nahyan at the Emirates Palace Hotel Abu Dhabi.
